Oh Lucy. Seriously one of the cutest babies ever. I would be lying if I said I wasn't jealous of her hair!!!! She is one luck baby to have such an amazing big brother who was so helpful during her session and parents that are so humble and not to mention funny and awesome to be around. Grandma even got in some photos and of course I had to show you some of her mama's maternity photos. Gorgeous.
Allyson - Milestone session - One year birthday - Monroe Wa Children Photographer
It has been a pleasure watching Miss Allyson grow up. She is so so so very cute every time she comes to the studio to see me. And she is the sweetest thing ever!!! I couldn't believe she was already turning ONE!! She kill her cake smash. (one of my faves to this date!)
Alica - Milestone Session - Lake Stevens Wa Children Photographer
One of my favorite types of session is a milestone session. It's always fun when I get to see how much a little one has changed from their newborn session to their milestone session. (Typically around 6 months and sitting up) So much personality comes with these types of session and Miss Alicia was such a character (and so much fun!!) She literally had me on the floor laughing, (like the crying tears cuz you are laughing so hard laugh. I wish I her session on video) Way too much sass and cuteness at the same time.
Nyah - Kirkland Wa Newborn Photographer
When Nyah came to the studio I was excited to meet her and her parents. But when I saw her I was over the moon and couldn't wait to snuggle her and photograph her beauty. She had the most tiny petite girly features ever. Pure Perfection!!! I was also so lucky to have my dear friend from Little Magnolia Studio join me for her session and she even let me barrow her handmade wood bed which was perfect for Nyah's woodland bedroom theme.

Miss Blair wore the color gold like a princess. (and has the demeanor of one as well.) She was so good to me. She even gave me some smiles at the end of her session. I can't wait to watch this little lady grow with our Watch Me Grow collection.
Miss Avery - 7 days new - Snohomish WA Newborn Photographer
It's always the best news when I hear from a past bride and groom that they are starting a family. (I may have been known to do a happy dance.) To say that I'm excited to meet the newest member of a family is an understatement. Avery has such a beautiful baby with such petite features. And not to mention, she was a dream to snuggle.
Take a sprinkling of fairy dust,
An angel's single feather,
Also a dash of love and care,
Then mix them both together.
Add a sentiment or two,
A thoughtful wish or line,
A touch of stardust, a sunshine ray...
Its a recipe, for a Baby Girl truly fine.

A balancing act. (Or at least trying to.)
The year of 2016 was going to my year where I was going to master the balancing act of my family life, work life, and well; just life in general. I wanted to be 100% wife, mom, sister, daughter, friend, and business owner. (If I'm totally transparent, I often feel like I fail at ALL of them, all the time. )
I wanted to be present in every aspect of my life that I often found myself last year one foot in, one foot out per-say. With my sidekick growing and changing everyday I fear that I will miss out on things and then with the studio growing and meeting new clients while still sharing in the lives of my loyal ones I don't want to miss out their moments as well. I don't want to let anyone down. ( I don't want to let myself down.) 2015 ended so great and 2016 started with a bang. One very much apprecited, but one also very demanding. I was so blessed to snuggle so many babies, share in the love story of couples and capture milestones for many families.
So in the trying to balance it all and serve hopefully all the areas in my life I will only be offering so many session a month and protect my family time. I hope that you all understand. You all mean the world to me and have been supportive and I don't think I can really ever express my gratitude to all of you. To those who have understand that my family comes first. To those who have let Blake come to sessions with me. To those who have pushed me to be a better wife, mom, sister, daughter, friend, and business owner.
Thanks to all of you!!! Much love and appreciation for you all sharing your lives with me.
